Gerben42
Nope. But it should be. 2NT with such a trumpy hand is - putting soft commentator gloves on - ... ... - without words, wow! - I got it. It's very creative.
hotShot
The SAYC booklet say 22+ HCP for a 2♣ opening. This is only 21, so open 1♦ and pray that either partner or opps make a bid.
jillybean
1♦, if it goes swish I am likely in the right spot.
ArtK78
It is a clear 1♦ opening, but I have played with some, err.., creative players who open 2NT. If you open 2♣ on this hand, your requirements are far too low.
aguahombre
And even after a 1H response I can't rebid 3NT, and will rebid 3c --due to systemic meaning of 3NT.
chasetb
As I play 2NT = 21-22 HCP, I have to open this 1♦. If I am only playing 20-21, then it's a clear 2NT opener (I'm not allowed to lie more than 3 HCP). You have 8 sure tricks- all partner needs is the ♠Kx, ♥Kx, ♦Ax, or ♣Qx to make 3NT cold. If I need some IMPs or MPs I will open this 2NT, no matter what. Any person who bids 2♣ is clearly bonkers and needs help!
mike777
1♦, if it goes swish I am likely in the right spot. ditto.
ONEferBRID
Now that it is almost unanimous for a 1D opening, I am curious as to Responder's hand and subsequent continuations after:1D - 1H/1S/1NT!3Cjump - ??
Jlall
And even after a 1H response I can't rebid 3NT, and will rebid 3c --due to systemic meaning of 3NT. And becuase you might miss 7C? I don't see why you would want to bid 3N even if you could.

jdonn
You must have left out the first two rounds of the auction when posting this problem about our third bid? :(
dcohio
1♦-2♦! inverted 10+ no 4cM, 4+♦ now what. RKC will show 1 keycard, and 1 outside K.
hanp
Slow down, you're bidding too fast. You've got to make the auction last.
