kenrexford
Well, the end result seems OK. I'd be rather concerned that 6♣ makes, but 3NT should be a decent contract.
ArtK78
I would be very concerned about two things: (1) Missing a slam (or a better game) in clubs; and(2) Going down in 3NT on a spade lead. Whenever I have a good fit for partner, a strong holding in the opponent's announced suit and a weakness somewhere else, it never seems to fail that the opponents attack the weakness successfully. It is far from clear how one should proceed over 2♦. After passing and hearing partner reopen with 3♣, perhaps you should bid 3♦ which must show that you were waiting for a reopening double. hanp
Definitely 3D over 3C.

kgr
IS 3♦ over 3♣ showing this hand and will you pass if partner would bid 3NT over it?Or can you also bid 3♦ over 3♣ with a weak hand?
Codo
IS 3♦ over 3♣ showing this hand and will you pass if partner would bid 3NT over it?Or can you also bid 3♦ over 3♣ with a weak hand? I would be very surprised if partner finds a 3 NT bid here. Do opps frequently bid 2 Diamond on QJxxx?.... I would bid 3 NT over his 3 of a major bid. hanp
3C shows an unbalanced hand with good clubs. I would double with this north hand.

hanp
I would certainly not pass 2H with the north hand, passing 2S is an option. If I double and pull to 3C, then I think that that is a better description than a direct 3C. I gave the north hand to the east you recently called a very fine player. She doubled 2D and when I said partner bid 2H, she decided to bid 2NT and thought this suggested clubs. What would you do Andy?

What would you do Andy? Now that you've planted the idea in my head, I'd double and then bid 2NT over 2♥. With 4225, I could bid 2♠, so I'm likely to have six clubs. I wouldn't have thought of that until you suggested it, though. When is your friend going to publish her book on advanced inferences in competitive auctions?
