awm Posted January 25, 2010 Report Share Posted January 25, 2010 I open 2♦, but this is definitely a matter of style. My vulnerable preempts are more sound than most. This helps to raise the preempt frequency and also limits my 1♦-1X-2♦ sequences more. Of course, it also means I can't preempt with some hands where other people would bid.
