hrothgar
Anyone out there have a well informed opinion about house plants? I'm looking for something large and lush that will fill a corner. I don't really heat my place in the winter - its about 60 degrees in my living room right now - so the plant needs to be resilient. As I mentioned, the plant will be going into a corner, so it won't receive much natural light. Any suggestions...
PassedOut
We have a Dieffenbachia in a corner without much natural light, and it does quite well here (Upper Michigan) even in winter. We let the temperature drop to about 58F at night and have it at 65F during the day. A Lady Palm might also work for you. I don't know if I'd call either plant lush, but they grow to a good size for a room corner. Enjoy your new place!
