Gottis
Have written this before, Isent it about time that BBO staff create a well hot cosy T-shirt so I can go around and shine the coming summer.
kenrexford
I'd get one. But, if you are going to run it as a beach T-shirt, it seems that it should have a typical beach theme. Maybe something about BBO on the back but something about bridge on the front. A couple of ideas come to mind. Maybe a front that says "I'm with stupid" and somehow points straight in front of you. Some sort of 3-D holograph, perhaps. Or, maybe something like "BBO Players do it with bots."
Tola18
Ah yes. As there IS one BBO shop, the idea is very easy to sell also T-shirts there. If BBO-owners dont want to self bother with such trivias, they can surely let someone else do it on their account. Share the profit taking a little royalty. It will be good pr both for BBO and for Bridge as such...
Aberlour10
As far as I remember such T-shirts were available 5 or 6 years ago for the first time.
Old York
"Bridge Players do it with Finesse""Squeeze my Pips""World Class Dummy""An Ace, An Ace... My Kingdom for an Ace" Any more? Tony :)
fred
As far as I remember such T-shirts were available 5 or 6 years ago for the first time.It was also (so far at least) the last time. We didn't have much trouble selling all (200?) t-shirts we had made, but this was not what I would call a successful business venture. I place the blame for this on the apparent fact that few Americans have much in the way of fashion sense :) This really hurt our business model. The problem was that we charged something like $5 for shipping a t-shirt regardless of the destination and size of the order (a policy that works well with the bridge CD-ROM business). The vast majority of our sales went to very fashion-aware bridge players living outside the USA (where it costs considerably more than $5 to ship even one t-shirt). I recall a single order of 17 t-shirts that had to be shipped to Indonesia... This is a not entirely serious post (but the story is true). Thanks. :)
Gottis
I guess those that would want a "textil" from BBO living outside USA are willing to bare the transportation cost. But ofcourse then they also want some drawing or some similiar so they find the expense easier.
