bid_em_up
An economist specializing in game theory is in the woods with a friend. They see a bear charging them. The theorist opens up a laptop and starts to compute an optimal escape strategy. His friend cries out, "Run! There's no time!" "Don't worry," says the theorist, "the bear has to work it out, too." So two guys are out walking in the woods when they run across a bear. One of the guys calmly stops, reaches into his backpack and pulls out his tennis shoes, sits down and starts to put them on. His buddy yells, "What are you doing? Those shoes won't help you outrun the bear, run you idiot run!!" The guy looks at his friend and cooly replies: "I don't have to outrun the bear. I only have to outrun you."
the hog
A neutron walked into a bar and asked the bartender, "How much for a beer?" The bartender replied, "For you, no charge." Woof! But I'll still use it. The other one is a Yogi Berra quote? Would that have been the h-bar? Did they order a Heisenberg? :) Like it. Winstonm
I used to enjoy icefishing on Lake Winnipesaukee in NH immensely.Lord, couldn't they find a LONGER name? Can you imagine the size of that road sign: Lake Winnipesaukee 5 miles. This just in....a 37-card smashup has motorists taking a detour around Lake Winnipesaukee after a local driver had to swerve to miss the Lake Winnipesaukee sign, which extends 10 feet into the westbound lane, and hit a moose head on.... Fields movie: Aw, yes, Snaidney Cumpin, I remember the night he tired to outrun the entire Chickagowee Nation, who were after his scalp for selling them distilled water packaged as rum. Did he make it? Ahh....No....But had he been a younger man, he probably would have. That's the point. You can't wait too long in life.
