Al_U_Card
BBO or BBQ? Get the anything on the barbee and its the best! Ever tried grilled pineapple? But a perfectly seasoned filet mignon, medium rare, with a bit of chipotle bbq sauce on the side....mmmmmm BBQing is not grilling. Mea semi-culpa. Since it is cooked on a "grill" on the bbq, and in french we say "griller" meaning to toast with heat, I use them interchangeably. The best is with charcoal flames but either way (propane and stones etc.) its all good!
jjbrr
You can redeem yourself if you can suggest a possible tasty food item with which to wrap your filet mignon to make it perfect.

Winstonm
Speaking of pork: (Bloomberg) Just 8 percent of Americans want the members of Congress re-elected, according to a CBS News-New York Times poll taken nine months before roughly one-third of the Senate and the entire House face voters. Some of the people some of the time is now only 8%.

Some of the people some of the time is now only 8%.This report is rather selective in its precision. They carefully state that it is roughly one-third of the Senate rather than 33/100 or 34/100, whichever it might be this year but they seem totally oblivious to how carelessly they frame the main point: Only 8 percent want their own congressman re-elected? Only 8% want any congressman anywhere to be re-elected? Only 8% think some undefined generic congressman that they cannot name should be re-elected? Somehow the extreme care taken with the number 1/3 and the total imprecision of the reporting of the actual results breaks me up.

Most people (who know who their representatives are, anyway) have a favorable opinion of their own representative, and a very unfavorable opinion of Congress in general. kenberg
Exactly: Your congressman is a pork rolling sleaze, my congressman is a great guy. For example, I was once in Steny Hoyer's district. Imo, he really is a great guy. But I moved. Now I live in Roscoe Bartlett's district. It occurs to me that it is fairly frightening that there could be found 8% who think anyone in Congress should be reelected - until I stop to remember that over 50 million voted to put Sarah Palin one heartbeat away from the oval office. Attack Iran? You betcha'. President Palin - now there is a CHILLING thought.
Winstonm
I wonder if John Lennon somehow plugged into a cosmic melody machine that pumped music into his being - and I wonder if there was some trade off it that were the case. Do you have to be stoned to make the connection? Can you smoke pot or does it take something stronger, like LSD or heroin? Instant Karma's gonna get youIt's gonna knock you right in the headbetter get yourself together darlingpretty soon you're gonna be dead What in the world you thinkin' oflaughin' in the face of lovewho in world do you think you area superstar? kenberg
I dont know the theme song... I know Hoffman and Angelina's dad. Who are Hoffman and Angeliona? Seriously, I am really not turned in or turned on, I just dropped out. Upon reflection, perhaps Leary told us to tune in not turn in. I am always getting these instructions messed up.
