blackshoe
thanks hotshot!! (of course for me Windows is still evil, I mean, what if someone didn't know about this and some very important document got lost?) I suppose windows is smart enough not to reboot if there is a program that wants to ask you whether you want to save something. It is now. It was not always so. Test: open Notepad, type some text in the (untitled) window. Tell Windows to restart. First I get a dialog box from notepad asking if I want to save the file. about half a second later, windows tells me it can't end notepad because notepad is waiting for a user response. Tell it to "end now" and the computer restarts. Click "cancel" and go back to the Notepad dialog. Tell Notepad "no", you don't want to save it, and you're left at the Notepad window. Quit Notepad, it asks again if you want to save it. Tell it 'no' and you end up on the desktop. Windows has forgotten that you told it to restart. Silly Windows.

gwnn
I don't understand why the Belgian women ever retired when they apparently still are able to play at the very highest levels.
jjbrr
Can we all agree that Jose Cuervo is a waste of money, and something cheap like Sauza Blanco is way smoother and tastier? Don Julio is the king of all tequilas, though. Edit: Reiterating. Jose=garbage.

bid_em_up
For Windows XP, I would prefer the following over making changes to the registry (which is what the 'norebootwhenloggedon' sites appear to recommend) by following this path (other versions should have a similar function): > Start > Control Panel > Automatic Updates or >Settings > Control Panel > Security Center > Manage Security Settings for: Automatic Updates At this point, either change the frequency the updates are applied to something you can live with or change how updates occur. You have the options at this point to download updates but not install (the computer will not reboot until you tell the update to install manually), do not download or install updates but let me know that a new one exists, or turn them off completely (not recommended). If you pick one of these options, you need to be disciplined enough to make sure that you periodically install any updates yourself.
jdonn
Watch out ordering a long island iced tea on the strip in Vegas, they sometimes charge each shot as a seperate drink. I like Mesa Grill but that drink is not worth $50!

jdonn
My father claims one of his college roommates took a bite out of a hershey bar, slightly melted it, stuck a hair through it including the bitten part, and sent it to the company with an angrily worded letter. A month later he received two large cases of hershey bars in the mail. I have not verified the veracity of his claim.
