ggwhiz
Didn't they fold them and open the Brewery that makes Dos Equus?
Winstonm
I never knew the X Games had a brewery.
Winstonm
In a related news story, CNNC has learned that Sarah Palin is still waiting to be told what she thinks about the Massachusetts special election race.
jjbrr
Speaking of which, remember how big of a deal the X Games were when they first came out? WOO TONY HAWK! And now, does anyone even know when they are happening? Or care? No and No. Although I see that redhead snowboard kid all over the place now. Kind of LOL. Lobowolf
In a related news story, CNNC has learned that Sarah Palin is still waiting to be told what she thinks about the Massachusetts special election race. Like all reasonable people, she thinks the spot should just be given to a Kennedy; she just hasn't decided which one.

Aberlour10
I'll just note in passing that AO2010 is kicking off tomorrow. Perhaps I am alone with it but....it lacks an real Grand -Slam -feeling for me. Surely its a big event in tennis but nothing I would really compare to Wimbledon, Garros, or Meadows... gwnn
well I've never been there but I always liked to see the matches. Safin vs Federer springs to mind from 2005. Also Nadal-Verdasco and Nadal-Federer from last year. I am never able to watch enough matches though because of the timezones. Anyway for me Wimby and Roland Garros seem to have bigger traditions than the other two. Not sure why. Haven't been there at either :) (except I was in London in 2008, but not at the stands)
Aberlour10
I vistited Roland Garros twice, mostly watched matches at the side courts ...but it doesnt matter...this place has an amazing flair everywhere...as Paris in June generally... jjbrr
You can't say Federer is the best tennis player ever because it's a completely different game than it was long ago.
gwnn
yes you can because it's obvious that even as late as 1990 the game was much more crap than it is today. I know it's a question of technology but I don't think that's all. Of course it's easy to imagine that in 2030 tennis will be even better than it is today. Fluffy
the same applied to tiger woods, and... does anyone believe schumaker or alonso or anyone from nowadays is better that Ayrton Senna?, I doubt it. I am sure all of us would enjoy going back to 50s or 60s and probably becoming bridge champions thanks to our "modern" methods.
Lobowolf
And does anyone seriously think that someone from today could go back and beat Roger Bannister in a 1-mile run?
Aberlour10
It would be interesting to see how todays champs play with f.e.... Lendl's wooden racket.

Al_U_Card
Perhaps suit and tie at all events and formal wear for special events? At my last F2F game, one of our opps looked like an unmade bed but played pretty well. Perhaps screens everywhere might help those with delicate dispositions? :)

jjbrr
I think everyone should invest in at least one set of really quality sheets. You spend so much of your life in your bed, it seems like a no-brainer for something to drop a little extra cash on. The same applies for a comfortable mattress.
