jdonn
When you're eating a sandwich, halfway through you should flip the sandwich over so the top becomes the bottom. It will taste different. On a related note, I once ordered a Whopper at Burger King with two bun tops. Not only did they do it but the guy didn't even blink, just said "whopper two bun tops" into his little microphone. My friend behind my had a heart of gold and ordered a Whopper with two bun bottoms so they would break even.
gwnn
Sometimes bookmakers offer unreasonably low rates for outsiders just to make fanboys and/or betting fanatics (who don't do enough research ever) lose their money.

ggwhiz
I'm in Canada and something like 90% of our population lives within an hour of the U.S. border. Why? We huddle together to keep warm. Global Warming, bring it on! Lots of room up north for anyone who's Island sinks beneath the waves.

Phil
Been away for a few weeks. The final word: --Bacon does not belong in guacamole. I mean, WTF...? --KJ9xxx and a bunch of short quacks do not constitute a 1 bid nor a 2 bid. --The economy in 2010 will be better than 2009. --The protesters in Berkeley should spend one week in an inner-city classroom in LA and then decide how important a stupid tuition increase is relative to the state's other priorities. --All CA pensions should be renegotiated. All employee's unions should be barred from contributing to political campaigns in the jurisdictions they work. --Kimi and got loaded up on sake on NY's. I'll stick to grapes from now on, not rice :)

mike777
Of course Unions should be able to contribute to a political campaign. Any campaign they choose to. The whole point is to influence the political process, not do nothing. and if your partnership agreement says to open all 6 card suits,11 hcp hands at the one level...do it or change your agreements. :(
