Ant590
When the Web-version of BBO appeared I found it very difficult to find how to make a new table. The route is currently:1) Click "Help me find a game"2) Click "I want to find or start my own table"3) Click "I want to start a new table" I think that (1) implicitly implies (to my common-sense at least) that such the game BBO is helping you to find is pre-existing, rather than new. Recent posts to these forums asking how to start team games and bidding tables give evidence to this view. I believe the "I want to start a new table" link should be placed on the main page, under the "help me find a game" and "show all tables" links. Tola18
I agree.Being new and unsure you dont want to suddenly be placed at a foreign table before you had asked for it. Thus shehe DONT click on this "help me find a game". The unsure newcomer wants to look and see at first, so shehe feels comfortable the whole time. If it isnt completely intuitive, make sure it is described well. And described in easy english. For the seasoned afficionados it doesnt matter much, but for those new and or unsure, it makes a lot of difference. jkljkl
When the Web-version of BBO appeared I found it very difficult to find how to make a new table. Indeed, I tried the web-version yesterday and it seems that it finally works with Opera too. After having tried out many other links I gave up the intention to open a table. Out of curiosity I clicked on the german translation of "help me to find a game" that reads "I am looking for a bridgegroup". Similar problem about bidding table and robots that first are not available but later yes. Maybe BBO could make a more extensive use of explanation bubbles when the mouse hovers on a link. with best regardsstefan
