How use .pbn file for tournament

Recommended Posts

I guess you're right - I noticed a .lin copy was made but did not notice that it was that one that is used when uploading.

But I still wonder if it is possible to upload files in web mode; I now uploaded using the windows app and then switched to the web app to conduct the tournament - which indeed contained the correct set of boards.

Also funny that you can upload the boards but cannot view or edit them anywhere - you just have to cross fingers and hope they are correct.

Hi,

using netbridgevu.exe is certainly the official way of converting

pbn to lin.

But maybe the following is also of interest for you:

Richard Pavlicek has written a program to convert various formats,

see http://www.rpbridge.net/rput.htm

So you could bypass the windows version, and you will also be able to

cross check the conversion.

I would assume, that Richard Pavlicek was able to use the documantation of

LIN format, which is only provided on special request and you need to be able

to make your case.

With kind regards

Marlowe
