nige1 Posted December 28, 2009 Report Share Posted December 28, 2009 At pairs, the ♥-establishment line is clearly better because it gives you a chance to beat pairs in 6N (or 6♠ on ♣A lead). Even at teams, however, when the odds are close, it pays to take over/undertricks into account. Here there isn't much in it. If you adopt the ♥-establishment line and both lines work then you make an overtrick; but if neither work then you may lose an extra undertrick.
