I don't hate 4♥ though, and 4 level openings do differ from 3 level ones in that it is harder for the opponents to bid 3NT after a 4 level opening. After we open 3♥, if they bid 3NT we know they are very likely to make it (sure, not necessarily a bad thing, perhaps they play 3NT when they are cold for 6♦, etc) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
