Codo
Luckily we have discussed this everyday situation in our regular partnership. The pass wants us to lead a minor if partner ignores the stop card and esp. diamonds if partners did stay quite. Something like "uuh" or "oh" forces a diamond lead. Quite easy and effective. So an obvious club for me. Without this scientific bidding tools:The professional player did not open, but now bids slam. He must have a very very long two suiter and one of his suits is obv. spades. So the tricks which may disappear are clubs so I lead one. Maybe he has xxxxxx,-,AKJxx,xx or xxxxxx,V,AKJxxx,x and declarer the ace of hearts and partner the ace of spades. Okay in this case, partner may had doubled 6 Spade, but who knows...
