aguahombre
neg double. Partner knows this is under pressure. Might get too high, but if I pass and show nothing, I will not be well placed after partner reopens with a double. Prediction in "It's your call"= majority for double with a lot of passes and no other calls.

Your HCP are in your's and partner's suits.
jdonn
Double. I would say passing this is really bad. 9? More like a 3.
peachy
NegX looks normal. I would not want to even consider passing. Given that the opps are weak players, I expect their preemptive suit to be semisolid even when they are white vs. red, my partner is unlikely to have wastage in that suit and I have support for everything, including spades if partner rebids them. Edit: Oops, opponents are not weak players. But my answer is still the same.

mr1303
Double seems automatic. Partner is not likely to be particularly enthusiastic about reopening on this auction, I like my pips, and I have decent support for whatever suit partner bids in response to the double. andy_h
Seems like an easy double. If you pass, you are letting preempts win too often but this hand doesn't seem like a problem at all.
suokko
If partner reopens I would bid game! Why not just double now? Doubling immediately removes some pressure from partner when passing out 3♣ is right.
