Using Vugraph matches at a teaching table?

Last night there was match between the Precision Club and SAYC-2/1 BIL members. I would now like to discuss the boards with my BIL class stepping through the actual events.

So is it possible to step through a recorded team match in a teaching table?

This does not seem possible using the original record, but perhaps someone knows whether the lin file can be simply edited.

Thanks

This should not be a problem, assuming you have the lin file.

Open the teaching table, click on movie, click on "open", find the file you want to use, and open it. Scroll up and down the vugraph hand record to find the one you want to load, and click send. The hand will be used.

You can edit the lin file to include comments that will be displayed after the hand is played. To add these comments be sure to use the new text command (the letters nt surrounded by vertical lines) and then make sure the new page command at the end of the new text remains correct (see exapmple below)

[nt[ Type new text explaining the deal like this. In this example I had to use square bracket because the vertical lines will not print in this forum. When you get to the end of the text you are typing, make sure that there is a vertical line fpllowed by the letters pg (for new page) followed by two vertical lines, as in the following example, again using square brackets instead of vertical lines so you can see them. [pg[[

Thanks Ben, but I was also hoping to step through the bidding & play as originally recorded in a similar way to reviewing a movie but this does not seem possible in a teaching table.
