Fluffy
All vul, IMPS, opss arent experts if it matters. [hv=d=w&v=b&n=sk10984hak1093da8c5&s=s6hq62d1062ca108632]133|200|Scoring: IMP(1♦)-2♦-(ps)-2♥(3♣)-3♦-(ps)-4♥all pass[/hv] lead is ♥5, RHO will play the ♥4. Any chance on making this? gnasher
If LHO is 1255 with ♠A, I can win ♥Q, lead a spade to LHO's ace, draw a second trump if they haven't played one, take a ruffing finesse in spades, and later lose a spade. If he's 1165 or 2155, I can win ♥Q, lead a spade to the ace, win ♣A, cross to a diamond, play♠K, ♠10 covered and ruffed, diamond to dummy, ♠9 covered and ruffed, diamond. I lose a trump trick too, but that's the lot. I can't see a way to cater for all of these distributions, however. To bid like this with only 5-5, LHO would have to have KQJ9x KQJ9x in each of his suits. Also, he'll probably play a second trump if he has one. If he doesn't, I'll play for him to be 6-5.
