manudude03
Sitting North [hv=d=s&v=b&s=skj9xhqdkj9xxc7xx]133|100|Scoring: IMP[/hv] Partner passes then...(1C)-1D-(1H)-4C(P)-4H-(5C)-5D(P)-P-(6C)-P(P)-??? Perhaps 4H wasn't the best call, but can't turn the clock back now. Anyway what do you do? Edit: fixed, thanks Helene.
Phil
4♥ is really bad IMO. You have set up a forcing pass for your side. 4♠ is much better, since it might be your best contract. I have no idea what to do here, however, it sounds like there isn't a lot of wastage. Axxx, xxxx, Axxxx, void give us a likely slam, and its easy to see how ther slam can make. I'll bid 6. helene_t
Correction: Partner started the auction with a pass. Is partner's pass still forcing, then?
Jlall
Correction: Partner started the auction with a pass. Is partner's pass still forcing, then? oh partner is a passed hand? Was gonna say 4H is fine we could easily have a slam, but if partner is a PH it's less likely. It is probably ok though, partner is extremely likely to have a club void for a PH 4C so we don't need that much. I would bid 6D now, if partner has the SA we might be making it, and if they have the SA they might be making it.
