Robot and money tournaments

Yes, I'd like that too. GIB "psyched" a KC response of 5 with 1 KC and the Q that wound up with me in 7nt off a cashing A. There have been a number of other responses where the bids did not match the hands after I clicked on the auction.

Overall it is pretty good though, and I'm sure if it has a forums it would have more complaints about human "tactical" bids and what not.

You can also click on all the bids to see the definitions or scroll over them to see before you bid.

That is true, but the robots are big liars some of the time. Seems like "often" to me. For example this one two days ago. Unopposed bidding between you and the GIB. GIB opens 1D.

1D-2C (I had AJx-Qx-QJ10-AJxxx or something similar 15HCP. Clubs, diamonds, and the shape are accurate, the rest as best I remember)

2D- 3D (2D explanation shows 5+ diamonds)

3H - 4D (dont remember exact explanation but it included 3- H and 3- S, did not match GIBs hand. I tried to look what my 4D means to GIB but there was no explanation available)

4NT- 5S (RKC and my response)

5NT- 6D (K ask and my response 6D, not sure if my response is right)

7D - down several, I don't remember if the other GIBs doubled or not hehe

My GIB had 3-4-3-3 in a 13count with 7xx in diamonds and no aces!

a feature I would like to see would be wtf asking after the hand.

player: wtf was 2S?

robot: 8+ points, 5+Ss

player: you didn't have that

robot: sucks to be human

LOL, I have needed this feature often.

Maybe, once this new feature is implemented, all occurrences of using this feature would automatically be collected and emailed for the GIB administrator's review . Just kidding...the mail load would be enourmous...

All that aside, I still play robot tourneys a few times a week. Better than solitaire or mahjong puzzles.

Doesn't help when you are trying to bid though!

Anyway, I had managed to find the notes but I didn't read them; I just began playing Robot Rewards or something like that. As mentioned above, the bot does indeed deviate from its agreements for no apparent reason (and has some strange interpretations, like raising a minor-suit opening while concealing a 5-card major), and plays and defends in misere fashion.

I find that it is pretty addictive, but not at all like playing bridge. How do ohers find it?
