triplepeel
honest question, non self-promotion:I spend far too much time on BBO, usually in robot tournaments. I often come first and it is always in pay events that qualify for BBO points...so how come I'm never in cooee of months top pointscorers?how many hours per week do these top qualifiers play? ( I limit myself to 168 hours per week)are there events that earn lots more points? It's not a big deal obviously but I am intrigued to know. :(
helene_t
The clue is to play in the week when they switch back from day light saving, then you can play for 169 hours :( No seriously I dunno. Well obviously there is more to win in th $5 tourneys.
TylerE
Robot tourneys reward far few points than the ACBL sanctioned games. If I had the desire I could grind out probably close to 150 points a month, maybe more playing speedball...and that's only playing 7 or 8 tourneys a day. If I truely went nuts, played about 15 tourneys a day.... well... I suspect my bridge would start to suffer at that point...but that's pretty much what the usual suspects do.
