(see Chat below)Chat and last 6 tricks lasted about 7minutes. Although I added 6min, last trick was not finished.Server adjusted A--. IMO: 1) N/S deserve 6♥X-1 for their bidding. They shouldn't have a benefit from E/W beeing rude.2) E/W deserve a zero for their rudeness. But I can't do this with the actual software.3) therefore I didn't change the A-- from server . Your opinions? guggie Posted June 26, 2004 Report Share Posted June 26, 2004 Sorry made at first a Guggenheimanian mistake and thought 6♥x would make. It is a bit comical that EW by their arguing miss a good result, whilst propably hoping to evade a bad result by slowing down. Maybe the arguing was a bit of acting to have a pretext for the slowing down. Nevertheless penalties via abuse to EW both for arguing AND slowing down. Where is declarer's 12th trick? Or is the director assuming a revoke by either East or West. xx wrote1) N/S deserve 6♥X-1 for their bidding.That's a given but you can't manufacture a 12 the trick for NS just because EW were a pair of (alleged) ratbags. Hi Dwayne I didn't not even :o consider 6♥X= or 7♥XX=. I put 6♥X= in my poll knowing some people :P who would prefer this decision. What in my oininion must be the right score is: NS: 6♥X-1 (anything else is unfair to the other N/S-Pairs) :( EW: zero zero zero :ph34r: But there is in this software no possibility to adjust in this way. Therefore under given circumstances the least of evils seems to me A--. I'm not happy with this, because both pairs get too much. NS deserve 10% (for bad bidding) and EW 0% (for rudness).
