Seems to me lebensohl is viable when it is possible for your side to have game, this is one of those cases. I will advance with 3C and hope partner is in a position to bid again. mikeh Posted December 17, 2009 Report Share Posted December 17, 2009 While it is true that they probably start with 6-7 tricks, that isn't always the case....I once saw a hand on which the takeout doubler held a spade trick, and it may happen again sometime...maybe it just did. I am going to pass, while hoping that we are playing with screens, or online, and that partner neither hears, smells or sees me puking. At least I have an easy lead....
