jdonn Posted November 3, 2009 Report Share Posted November 3, 2009 I thought of it because I was thinking how someone taught me once you can bid garbage stayman with 3415, pull 2♦ to 2♥, then pull 2♠ to 3♣. So maybe pulling it to 2NT can be 1444 since, well, I can't think of another shape that makes sense for it. Just in that case it would also have to be just almost worth a 2NT rebid since you would have to do so over partner rebidding 2♠. I think that the chances in 3 NT are too low to make a try, as are the chances that partner has a heart fit. At imps it is closer, but I would try to swing it with pass too.
