take out where?

I admit I would never have Passed at the table, and would have bid 2NT.

I find it quite interesting that experts suggest a Pass here : I'm not really a strong MP player, and try to get any opportunities to improve my judgement in this area.

you are in the right site for that dellache ;), 1 year ago I would bid 2NT without a doubt. But some post by Justin have made me switch gears.

I passed and collected 800, partner had a monster

One more question, after cashing AKQ partner didn't trust my 9 and switched to clubs. Is it normal to switch to 9 to show no honnor or to third to show count?

ehehehe I was about to make the same conclusion....

I don't like to sit in auctions like this one, I tend to follow the rule (TO doubles are for take out) unless I have big reasons not to...

One of those reasons could the be the fact that I am playing MPs and have to make some sort on "against the field" action in search for a good result.

So, 2NT for me.

interesting.

pass

pass

pass

pass

show actual hand which bid 2H, then

pull

pull

pull

pull

then show the good result from passing.

Yes, I always take advantage of whatever clues we've been given. It's much more important to look good than to actually think about the problem.
