TimG
What distinction do you make between the two available cue-bids in this auction: P - P - 1♣ - 1♠2♥-3♣/3♥?

aguahombre
Including 2NT in the mix of possible degrees of raise seems to be a good thing. I guess we need all three in these days, where opening bids are shaded and non-forcing freebids occur. In olden times, when the 1S overcall was the only suspect bid, mixed raises could just bid 2S and 2NT could be a crap bid with long diamonds.
