How to clear a convention card?

I set up a cc via the USE option on "Work Convention Card" for one of my partnerships.

How do I turn it off?

I have tried CLEAR a number of times but it keeps coming back every time we play together.

In editor mode you go into each entry and press delete button. Then the entry is gone.

If this looks difficult then open the file in an editor-application and simply delete all content from the file. Keep the file else you have nothing for BBO to update.

I am not sure how to delete a card from BBO display but if is empty you wont see it. Worth to give a try I think.

csdenmark is correct. I tried this many months ago

Open your convention card in an editor prgram .. notepad (for example) ..then reduce the code shown to ONLY the following line BUT still "save as" a .bss document

*00{Test gone}=NYYYYYY

note txt "Test gone" can be anything.

Next time you are on bbo with same pd then "clear" the one that bbo automatically finds ...

then ....load this "empty" cc as the BBO server must be trained to remember this new "empty" version.

Eh Voila the cc loads but nothing is shown at all

This is the only way as once bbo remembers a cc for you ( and a pd ) it is forever

Edit: This for windows client

Sorry - apparently we have a bug.

This is almost certainly on the server end so it should be possible to fix it relatively soon and without the release of a new client.

I think this bug only happens if the person trying to clear the convention card is using the Windows client. If you log in using the web-client, there are various ways you can get rid of one of your partnership's convention cards.

If you need details about how to do this, let me know.
