rfp
In recent months logging of deals played (IMP Pairs) does notinclude the IMP scores, but in the past these were contained inthe LIN file. When I look online to try to retrieve them it seemsonly one deal can be downloaded at a time. In the 90s when OKbridge was king, I had no problem getting allthe deals played, either by recording, or by a single download ofevery deal played. Has bridge taken a giant step backward?Or am I missing something? How do I conveniently retrieve all deals played with IMP scores? Thanks. --Richard Pavlicek (rfp)
TimG
I don't think you can do this with the flash version, something about flash not being able to access local drives. I've been watching this post because I've been hoping for a solution, but I think the answer to your last question is simply: you can't. Even better if you can also send me a (presumably older) working file so that I can compare the two. Whatever happened was not intentional - it could be a new bug in the most recent version of our Windows client. Glad to hear you aren't playing your online bridge in the 1990s anymore B) Fred GitelmanBridge Base Inc.www.bridgebase.com
Old York
I have also noticed that many .lin files do not display the GiB analysis button, but it appears on others. I think this is again peculiar to individual hands downloaded as .lin filesWith no Gib button, I am forced to do a lot of cut-and-paste editing to fully analyse the hands by transfering them to a blank template which includes GiB Tony

The next time a windows version is made it will be fixed. To get the GIB button, you need a vugraph header at the beginning of the file. That is the screen that shows all the results for the hands in the file and you can jump to the one you want to see. I assume if you fake a vugraph header (take one from a different file), the GIB button will be active then. You might try that (I have not, but I assume it will work ----- of course we know what happens when you assume)....

TimG
I wonder if it wouldn't be possible to automatically (or by request) generate some hand history e-mails? After a tournament, for instance, perhaps I could request a hand history for tournament #xyz and receive an e-mail with the hand history. Or, request the results and receive an e-mail with the results. In addition, it would be nice to be able to request a hand history for a particular day (or other time period) with the generated history e-mailed to me. I'd want these hand histories sent in text format, but there could be an option for some other format(s) to suit individual preferences.
