Codo
To me thisis very close. Your hand is as flat as possible. But partner is bidding in a living auction with at most KJ9xxx in his suit. He must have a good shape to do so. Maybe he has a 0742 hand with some values in the minors? Yes I talked myself into supporting with this support.
rhm
I think 5♥ is clear.Of course you could be down or 7♣ could be cold, but anything else looks too optimistic to me. I would never pass or DBL and I do not think it is close.I would hit 5♠ only in the pass-out position. Rainer Herrmann
gwnn
pass dont hang partner! we want him to bid 3♥ with various nauseating hands.
lamford
Pass, and in tempo. If partner has the 0-7-(2 4) hand we hope, he will have another bash with 4NT, unless you tank. Total trumps could well be 18, which suggests that, if 4S is making, 5H will be 3 down. True there is some purity which might make total tricks more, but against that there is a chance partner has a singleton club when we may well beat 4S. andy_h
5♥, no hard feelings. If we're hanging partner, this could turn out to be a good sac too. Though to be honest, I would have doubled 1♠.
Jlall
I have no idea, pass, X, and 5H all seem ok.
655321
My first thought was 5♥ WTP, but I guess that is wrong, partner could just be bidding because he didn't want to defend 2♠. Anyway I still bid 5♥, but maybe it is not as clear as I first thought.
Fluffy
anything but pass, partner is an unpassed hand for all that we know we could had 15 tricks in hearts. If partner doesn't make 5♥ opposite this then his 3♥ bid was hopeless. I'd bid 4NT to show a major heart raise with slam tendencies.
ggwhiz
I'm with gwnn on this one and pass. I want pard bidding 3 hearts here with short spades and 1/2 a reason. Unless pard has a heart club 2-suiter, I make us 50% at least to beat this. Allan Graves in a bidding contest once said, "I don't mind a poor result to maintain our overall bidding integrity". If you don't pass 4 spades here, you should constantly face auctions of 1s - p - 2s - p - p to you with these cards. Now what?
shevek
I like double to show this. We have this guideline: "If they have a fit at 3♥+ and partner has shown a suit, double shows a defensive raise." Whether you think this is the right hand for this treatment is another question.
