Codo
1 NT was 11-14? I won't double and lead a club. I guess that the spades are 5-1 or4-1 between partner and dummy. It is a lively possibility that I have zero tricks in my hand, so double seems to be a wild shoot. Opposite a 15-17 NT, I would still not double but think about 4 heart instead.
Jlall
Definitely don't double you have 0 points in the black suits and 0 aces...You can't even double 5C with this hand. I would lead the DK.

jdonn
I'll take the bait though. If my opponents are bad I would probably double 5♣. I lead a diamond.
lifemonster
I would lead a trump, and will be more than happy to get any plus. I wish this is a flat board and a plus should be slightly above avg for us.
barryallen
I would lead a trump, and will be more than happy to get any plus. I wish this is a flat board and a plus should be slightly above avg for us. I would lead a club every time, more than likely wrong or the question would not have been asked. If declarer happens to be 54 a good chance of getting a plus score if we can restrict the ruffing. Finding it hard to see the diamonds disappearing, which just keeps coming back to a club. P_Marlowe
Assuming 1NT being limited to at most 14HCP, why should I double?I would pass. Now I am leading a systemic heart. With kind regardsMarlowe
pooltuna
[hv=d=e&v=n&s=sxxhk10xxxdkqxcxxx]133|100|Scoring: MP1♠-ps-ps-1N2♣-2♥-3♣-3♥4♣-??[/hv]MP, 1) Do you double? 2) What to lead? For me 1NT=13-15 in passout so yes I think I was making 3♥ for 140 or 170 and -2 by the opps is only 100 so yes I double can't really cost many MP. I lead a ♣ to try and protect as much as possible my partner's ♠cards
