2H.

 

It may be true that we can describe our hand after 2S if the opponents bid 3H, but I'd rather show what I have immediately. I don't see how 2H buries partner because if he has less than an opening bid he will bid 2S anyway. If he has more then 2H will be helpful.

there is a downside to the cue with marginal values. If opener wants to bid his suit again, I want him to have to bid it at the 3-level now. I don't want to have given him the options of pass, double, and 2S --whatever they might mean, and then another opportunity when the auction comes back around.
