This does not show a 4 card length, Partner denied four of them already.So it should show a good hand with no clear direction, implying a diamond fit and not enough club stopper for 3 NT. Wich didn't even make when partner missguessed trumps. Fluffy Posted October 12, 2009 Author Report Share Posted October 12, 2009 I though 4♣ was best for slam, and lack of double from partner made it quite likelly that he had spade singleton. If we had both black singletons with the aces and no other wastage this hand must belong to slam. I don't blame my 4♣ bid so much, but this time it was very unsuccesful.
