kgr
1. Does partnership bidding exist in web version?2. What is easiest way to do partnership bidding with 4 persons? Play in main room and redeal after bidding or is there another way?
helene_t
Yes. Create your own table and chose "bidding" as table type. It has more functionality than the Win version. I would claim 13 tricks immediately rather than redealing, so that the board goes to the movie.
cherdanno
I would claim 13 tricks immediately rather than redealing, so that the board goes to the movie. That would produce some ridiculous results in the comparisons for the other tables, though.
fred
For 4-player practice I suggest you use a teaching table with a web-client user as host. The host will be able to constrain the hands of all 4 players thereby allowing you to practice particular types of bridge deals if you want. This will also allow you to avoid the problem that Cherdanno mentions - teaching tables do not use duplicate scoring (or any kind of scoring for that matter). If you don't really need 4 people, but just want the opponents to bid, then the web-client offers a couple of alternatives in Partnership Bidding that might be helpful: 1) Robots can bid for East and West (free if the host is using the web-client) 2) The table host can bid for East and West. You might be able to enlist a 3rd person to host the table and bid for East and West while you and your partner sit and bid for North and South. paulg
A short description of how to use the web version and utilise the Dealer option to create hands can be found on my blog. Paul
