(I know we have canola, something new and in the spirit of the article). Maple syrup is a bit pricey but people used to make spruce beer (which apparently tasted horrible) so instead of the Spruce Goose we could have spruce juice - an alternative use for trees which might actually leave some standing....what's not to love about that? :) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
