gwnn
2♠ 4sf or 2NT i think both are ok
andy_h
2NT natural and invitational. It sucks with no supporting honours in any of partner's suits but we have a decent 11 count. Who knows, maybe partner will be able to show 5-5 in the minors or he may bid 3♥ next showing 1354 which will make me happier.
jillybean
If you bid 2♠ your partner bids 3♦.
phil_20686
No one for 2h? If you play WJS this is Non forcing but constructive, partner will raise with a decent-ish hand and 3 hearts. Realistically, you dont want partner raising to 3N on a 14 count with no real fit (worse, possibly a postive misfit), and communications could be a real problem. 2H is a slight underbid/distortion, but normally shows 7-10 ish assuming that you play WJS. It will also fetch you a raise on Hx normally in a decent hand, which would be quids in on this hand. If you dont play WJS, so that 2h is totally non constructive, you have a choice of evils. 2N is a slight overbid with so little fit for partners hand, but pass is a definate underbid. I have no feeling for whether passing 2c or 2N will be a winner in the long run. If i had some better spade pips i would probably bid 2N, as it is pass would tempt me in a MP tournament. However at imps just close your eyes and bid 2N.

Phil
2N. Lets involve partner for a change.
pooltuna
2N.yes probably the best choice with 3♣ being second. The problem with 2♠ is that IMO it is GF as partner cannot have ♠ [well 4 anyway] and should be reserved for a slam precursor as well. rbforster
I know I'm spoiled by playing precision, but I'd take one of the lower roads on this one. At MP's 2♥ rather than pass, 2N is reasonable but seems marginal to me.

I think a lot of disagreements about rebids on these fora are influenced by whether the replier plays a forcing club system --in this case Rob knows it, sometimes it might be subconscious. EricK
This looks like a 2NT rebid to me. 2♥ seems quite likely to put us into a 5-1 fit (when partner bids two suits, he usually has a singleton, and with a 1354 hand he would probably (or do I mean hopefully?) raise to 2♥ instead of bidding 2♣). neilkaz
I rebid 2nt here also. 2♠ is GF for me when PD has denied 4♠
