benlessard
I don't know the answer but it seems playable that a weak distributional doubler can pull 1NT and a hand too good to overcall can cue or jump. I think i prefer that 2M is GF. I can understand that the frequency of the take-out with a void is higher than a big hand too strong to overcall. But the risk and benefit isnt the same. Jumping/cuebidding with a great hand facing 8-10 pts is annoying for your slam bidding. Maybe a good compromise is that 2m is a light take-out with void in opps suits. While the others bids remains powerful. (1H)--------X---------(P)---------- 1Nt(P)---------??? 2m doesnt show strenght it just show a H void. (so that with) 4054 you bid 2D 2S is GF option 2 is that only the cheaper minor is used to show the take-out with a void. 2C is 4054 or 40452D and + are strong. Over (1C)-----X-------(P)-------1Nt(P)------??? 2C can be used to show the club void instead of the cue-bid
