Chamaco
Hi all, I am helping translating the BBO "thingies" in italian, but there is one term I totally ignore:it is "switcheroo" and it appears in the "Partnership bidding" section.I'll be grateful to anyone that will explain to me what that means and which is its functionality in the Pship bidding room (so I can translate it in the best way). Thanks !! B)

Chamaco
Sodoes that mean that the dealer changes ?And, if so, does it change only N-S or rotates including opps side ?
JRG
I did explain this in the Online Help. Switcheroo means that the constraints placed on the North and South hands are to be switched randomly between North and South. For example, if you set the constraints for the North hand to be a 1NT opener and for South to have a random 10 HCP, when you set "Switcheroo", sometimes North will have a 1NT opener and sometimes a random 10 HCP (and South the opposite). 1eyedjack
Guess it is  Slang: An unexpected variation or reversal. Yup, switcheroo cypriot seems to be a valid googlewhack Until this page gets indexed, anyway
Chamaco
Ty all for the replies, maybe one day I'll invent a new dish clled "switcheroo pizza" or "switcheroo spaghetti". Bring a bottle of good red wine for that dinner ! :P
1eyedjack
Heh, steer clear of switcheroo dinner parties, unless you are in a strong relationship.
