655321
Given that we are vulnerable, I barelly think 3♦ has extras.Don't agree with this at all. The diamond suit itself could be better, but the hand is easily in the upper range - many much worse hands (often with better diamonds) will overcall 3♦, and many hands just a smidgen stronger than this one might well choose to overcall 3NT. But on the actual hand I like 3♦ and dislike 3NT.
Fluffy
Sorry, I didn't make it clear before. I pass many hands on wich you would overcall 3♦.
ArtK78
I think that the West hand is a clear 3♦ overcall. 3NT would not occur to me. It is a good, solid 3♦ overcall. Partner should expect a hand like this or perhaps a little less. Reaching 6♦ should be trivial after a 3♦ overcall. Getting to 7♦ should not be too difficult, either. He has ridiculously high standards for 3-level overcalls, but otherwise he is a really nice guy :)
Fluffy
I have lowered them (a bit) with the years, but because I had to do the same as partner or otherwise it would be ilegal. I still don't like it
