My kids would like to know how many rats you have, whether you talk to them (and whether they talk back), and what their names are.

My daughter knows the 'h' is silent, but likes to pronounce it anyway.

Happy Birthday.

Few comments on the rats

At the moment, I only have one rat (which is far too few). Rats are social critters. They normally live in large colonies. They don't adjust well to single living. "Munin" used to have a bother name Hugin, however, Hugin had a heart attack a couple monthes back. Munin is old enough (and anti social enough) that I'm not tempted to move in any more rats for a while. After he dies (and after I get settled down in the new place) I might get another batch.

I do talk to my rats (I've actually taught them to come when they're called). They don't talk back, however, one of my last group of rats got hooked on Grey's Anatomy.
