Fluffy
Another kind of thunder crossed Berlin. Oh my god, is this guy human? or is it a new step in evolution already? :P. My apologies to Tyson Gay, third best time of all times for a silver.
gwnn
It is sort of lucky that he didn't get injured. After Beijing everyone had to guess how good he was because he slowed down in the last 20 meters!
y66
What makes the Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt so entertaining is that unlike most sprinters, who look like tense blurs of twitching muscle, he appears relaxed. Even while smashing a world record, he seems like he might stop at any moment to send a text message. From today's WSJ story by Nando Di Fino, Austin Kelley and John Paul Newport
NickRW
It is sort of lucky that he didn't get injured. After Beijing everyone had to guess how good he was because he slowed down in the last 20 meters! He looked comfortable in the last 10 or 15 this time. Think he could go faster if only someone could be found to push him.

Maybe not with a world record.
Apollo81
I don't think I could beat this guy in the 100m even if I had a 5 second head start

neilkaz
19.19 lol Yeah..19.19 in the 200m !! Can he run the 400m as well ?
gwnn
He can't but I don't see why. He probably wouldn't run 38.38 but wouldn't he likely still get a medal?
Aberlour10
He can't but I don't see why. Simply because nobody is (and will be ) able to manage 100m, 200m 4x100m and all this qualifies + finals in 400m. If you watched yesterday slowmotions you saw he looked really tired. gwnn
Oh good point. But... who will break the record then? ;) I suppose one could say that for sure there will be many more Bolts and Greenes and Johnsons to come in the future but maybe they will come rarer and rarer now? gwnn
can't you just multiply all of the prime runners up to date and increment by 1?
Al_U_Card
For it to be a new record, you have to subtract .01 :)
