Subs

Recommended Posts

It's great, that they help us. But it's not great, when my partner lost his connection in the 1st round and I must play with somebody, someone else, with who I don't want to play. I usually wan't to play with my friends, who can my system, my bidding.

A small suggestion - when I could check a checkbox "I wan't to wait for my partner or be excused from tournament, when he isn't back to the end of the round" before tournament... It will be better.

It will be better, when I could play with my own substitute player (request, like request to play in tournament before its start) :\

They are 2 copies. First here, the second in the "sugestion for software/TD".

Hmmm well this create slight problem....

1st off... you are aware you may pick you sub if you partner is red?

2nd off... often subs is "tight" and needing to find 2 is just not option due to tightness

3rd... we do not like to sub but it is necessary to keep game flowing. it is also not fair to penalize you opps for you partners bad connection.

many of us try and return partner at least 1 time... in fishys 1 time if sub agree (and most do) but if they boot 2nd time then sub stays.

it is not our intention to force you to play with stranger. if this is frequent problem for you then i think you need pick partnerr with better connection.

Well, I finally have an opinion and thought I would share it here. With the new rules about 7 day bannishment for too many disconnects from a tournment (that is not finishing, not getting temporarily diconnected), I would love it if my friends who I play with would be willing to take a few Average minuses while I try to get reconnected. I would certainly be willing to take one or maybe two average minuses to give my regular partner a chance to reconnect. To do otherwise might mean I can enter a tourment with him for seven days... GACK.....

This is something we need to keep in mind.

Ben
