Maybe we should have a 'Wisdom of the Crowd' pick (just to find out what will actually happen).

The Wisdom of the Crowd suggests that Peter Gill will win, closely followed by Jlall.

yeah whatever, but am I last or is there someone behind?

BTW: Most of the non BBFs have put Spain in the quarterfinals in VC, while no member but me trusted them .

They probably didn't know yet that the third pair was composed with the woman who has read every read ever written and the other who never ever received a lesson let alone read a book and its proud of it. Those 2 are gonna be funny.

Cool! Months offline, and I return to the land of the 'virtually living' right before the start of the BB. How keen.

Of course, I miss the cut off for the pick'em. How sad.

Good luck to all the competitors! I know the pool made watching fun last time 'round. Just for that purpose, here's my BB picks.

QF: Bulgaria, USA1, Netherlands, Brazil

SF: China LZ, Norway

RU: Italy

WI: USA2

Unfortunately too late for the competition, but you can 'play' without standing and it has been added to the spreadsheet.

I had not considering giving a bottle of Scottish wine as a prize but, as Wayne suggests, if the Wisdom of the Crowd wins then I think 2ml each would be more than most could stand.

Oh, thanks for adding me, I was indeed playing for fun.

And to answer Fluffy's post, I already begin to think I might regret my big gamble : putting Brazil in the BB final  .

I did that too :P, I wanted to bet on a surpsie, and that you always do on a friend, so it was Brenner or Pacareu. I would switch to Chile now hehe. But anyway its too early, Brazil will have a comeback.

The younger talent from Chile (Robles - Pacareu) and Argentina (Pellegrini - Ravenna) is doing well, but the older talent (Brazil and USA1) is not.

This forum was told before the event that Brazil's lead-up form was not good, and that USA1 was seeded 20th in the Spingold and performed accordingly. Perhaps Brazil needed to include some of their younger talent e.g. Brum in their team?
