Winstonm
wow I am delighted that newcomer to bridge will learn 2/1 right way from 3 robots, dont have to bang their head on old CLUB HOUSE WALL, GOOD luck. GOOD MORNING DOCTOR FALKEN. HOW ABOUT A GAME OF CHESS? INTERESTING GAME. THE ONLY WINNING MOVE IS NOT TO PLAY.
Winstonm
More from the Jewish Buddha: Breathe in. Breathe out. Breathe in. Breathe out. Forget this and attaining Enlightenment will be the least of your problems.

barmar
I occasionally play in the ACBL Robot Duplicate tourneys. It's fun to play quietly by yourself for 12 boards, then go kibbitz the slow-pokes. If a few of you go to the same table, you can chat about how you played the boards you're kibbitzing. shubi
like to know who designed the bit map and who implenented the rules for robots?
barmar
Has anyone figured out if the GIB robots follow Asimov's 3 Laws? Does bidding a slam off two cashing tricks count as causing harm to the human?
shubi
long time ago when i started playing duplicate bridge; the club gurus used to tell me 'never pass in partner's suit with singleton in your hand'. now i c they were just ahead of time. shubi
JUST love playing with robots, only one thing for now please, 1 seconds delay after each card played in the table, otherise we players are unnecessarly punished. Al_U_Card
We could always just have the bots hesitate when they hold a singleton.... :)

Al_U_Card
So, there are then a goodly number of bots playing in the main room...? ;)
barmar
I mainly play with bots in Robot Rewards and Robot Duplicate, so all the humans are sitting in the same seat. If I can detect the bot's tempo variations (they're quite noticeable), so can all my human opponents, so I think it's perfectly fair to take advantage of them.
