For me the communication or rather the lack on communication it some of the most difficult parts of being TD. English is not my first language and sometimes i really find it difficult to be clear and sometimes i dont understand players...

 

Here 3 stories of today...

 

In the first i might have made a blooper... maybe the player was subbed in and that is why he noticed something strange?

 

In the second i think the player was not treated ok with me or not straight or..?

 

In the third i think someone even managed to be more blond than i am, well, if possible :lol:

 

 

 

First storie:

 

player B: in 3.board we play the 4!S but write opps

 

player B: do you understand me

->player B: yes, u were west there u know?

 

player B: in my board is 620 they score

player B: because we play and win 4!S

->player B: i look here and here ok.. it must be a bug...... look later if it is correct.. here it is:)

->player B: here 4s for east made

 

player B: i ll come to j…'s there

 

->player B: sry?

player B: and i play the 4!S and game is =

->player B: yes it is here ok 4s=

 

player B: in board wrong i think

 

->player B: but here ok i tell you

 

 

 

Second storie:

 

Kibitzer hello-are you the host?

->Kibitzer: yes dear

Kibitzer: pla listen-there is player(d…) barred from other bridge site for cheating-I'm kib her-there is a strange kib-she was used to ...

Kibitzer: play with kibs-I left other bridge site for this kind of things-

->Kibitzer: who is it?

Kibitzer: d…-s…-but she is not really from s…-she comes from m…

 

Kibitzer: she got married in s…

->Kibitzer: what table is she?

 

I notice she is kibbing at table x so i go there.. she is not there…

 

Kibitzer: y now

 

Kibitzer: the strange kib disappeared because she saw me-

Kibitzer: she is playing CCCC tour.

Third storie:

 

Tournament is finished:

 

player S (Lobby): last round player T did not play and waited time to runout

->player S: i look

 

Me: asking for movie player S no result - hmmmm maybe he was kibbing

Me: asking for movie player T no result

 

->player S: ? was it in Glamour? i cannot find yr results

 

player S (Lobby): 000 it was

 

Me: looking for 000 in tournaments

 

->player S: that was CCCC not Glamour

 

player S (Lobby): player T did not play 4 mitutes

 

->player S: TD U was in charge there.. i only did Glamour!

 

->player S: i was td Glamour not CCCC

player S (Lobby): ok sorry

 

->player S: tell TD U.. i was not there i did Glamour

->player S: Glamourous Blond:)
