Phil Posted July 27, 2009 Report Share Posted July 27, 2009 How do you expect to make this? You have to assume the ♣A is onside, otherwise this gets really ugly. You can make five diamonds, two hearts and a spade, but I'd be worried about holding this to -1. With the ♠ in dummy, (play the Q, you don't want to take a position early and play the 9 or 7) hook diamonds through East, cash diamonds, hook the heart, exit a heart. This gets you to 8, and maybe East has to give you #9 when he holds: x, KT98, Qxx, AQxxx and forgets to unblock hearts. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
