liukk
when I enter an ACBL robot tournament, the robots will frequently start autoplaying the hands. I do not have this trouble with normal play or tournament play in BBO. Any ideas?
barmar
You mean it plays cards from your hand automatically? I've never seen this happen. Unless you're talking about "Autoplay singletons", but even then I have to check the box in Options to make it do that.
Jacki
The next time this happens, check and make sure you are not dummy. If you play again, and the robot plays the cards, and you are NOT dummy, please send us a report with the hand and the specific game. For instance it was game #9999 and hand #3. Jacki
Thanks Liukk for the information. We'll follow up on this and see what's happening with your robot games. This may take awhile since all the programmers are in DC playing bridge, but we will be in touch with you via email. Thanks again for your help Jacki :P
G_R__E_G
It just happened in the 3PMCDT tournament hand 2 and I withdrewHi Liukk. I just looked over your hand records from the 26th. Hand number 2 from the tournament that you're speaking of was declared by your partner the robot (ie you were the dummy so the hands do "autoplay"). Sometimes when it is just the robots playing the last several tricks happen so quickly that you might something has gone awry - but that is not the case. If you go back and review the hand you'll see that all 52 cards were played one at a time from each hand.
