I like to be able to post-mortem-check the previous hand immediately, before I make my first bid of the next hand, if I have time to do that. The problem would be gone if thinking time was recorded by the system and the side that needed longer time than the other receives an unfavorable result, if there is any doubt what the adjustment should be.
