Your defensive agreements are UDCA and primary signal is attitude. you are on lead and put the ♠Q on the table from Qx. dummy shows up with Kxxx. p contributes the ♠2 as you win the first trick. peachy Posted June 28, 2009 Report Share Posted June 28, 2009 The primary signal has become obsolete (in a sense) in this hand when attitude in spades is already known - partner bid them and I held the first trick with Q. Matter of partnership agreement whether the 2 is then suit preference or count.
