helene_t Posted June 26, 2009 Report Share Posted June 26, 2009 set up a diamond for the discard of a club before drawing trumps, otherwise they get tempo to set up a club trick. BTW you need to play ♥J at trick one. If you play ♥3, East may play ♥Q to block the heart suit, and if they subsequently hold up the first diamond trick you will have no entry to the third diamond.
