rbforster
An interesting double dummy hand. Went down one in practice. Feel free to suggest your favorite single dummy line, as well as testing your double dummy skills to see how 3N can be made. Mbodell
Double dummy I think you can just win the ♥Q and play a low ♦ to the T. If both duck you have 3♦, 3♣, 2♥, and 2♠ by finessing the diamonds, cashing the major A's and running clubs from the top throwing in East with the J (if he pitches the J to avoid the throw in, you have 4 clubs and can play spades to throw him in). If West ducks but East wins the K, you can win any exit and do the same strip and throw in. If East wins, it is similar except here you keep the ♦T which you will use to force the K. As long as you attack diamonds first, being the only suit West is in danger of getting in, and then strip the hand and throw East in you should be fine. Single dummy, I don't think playing for the exact distribution and cards is so likely, but then again playing on diamonds first does look promising as the only other hope is QJ tight of clubs and slipping an extra spade by early before defense has a count on the suit. Instead, you could just run ♠Q, then take a diamond finesse.

rbforster
Win heart, diamond to ten, win west's heart return, cash as, play 3 clubs tricks, East is in some trouble. Not quite. East can cash the K♠ and safely exit a diamond. The defense will have 2 tricks in the black suits and the K♦. West can hold the Jxx♦ and a heart to set the contract as declarer is now locked in his hand.
